About Pantai Pandak Cendering
Long And Quiet Stretch Of Sand And Surf
This beach even has a song being named after it, called Chendering. It was composed in the early 60s (or before Malaysia was formed) by a famous composer called Jimmy Boyle. It lies 6km south of Kuala Terengganu and is known for its rocky section on one end and a long continuous stretch on the other.
With rustic kampong homes and swaying coconut trees with white endless sandy beach leading north, Pantai Pandak makes this a popular picnic destination amongst the locals. The rocks is quite an attraction with also a view of Pulau Kapas to the south from the beach. At low tides, this beach is quite a popular spot to swim and play in but do take care of your own safety.
